Doctor's response to Trump's swollen legs and bruises
He has suffered from vascular failure, according to Reuters.
"It is a benign condition," Trump's doctor writes in a letter.
The other day, pictures were published of Donald Trump, 79, at a sporting event where his calves looked very swollen. He also had bruises on his hand, which they had tried to cover up with makeup.
Now Reuters is reporting that the president has suffered from vascular failure in his legs.
According to the president's doctor, it is a benign condition.
Explaining the bruises: "Shaked hand"
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a press conference that Trump has been diagnosed with "chronic venous insufficiency", a condition common in people over 70. It occurs when the veins in the legs have difficulty sending blood back to the heart.- The results were within the normal range, and the president is in excellent health, Leavitt said according to ABC News.
Leavitt explained the bruises on the hand with the president's "many hand scans and use of painkillers", writes Newsweek.
