EU and US reach agreement: "Biggest ever"
The EU and the US have reached an agreement in principle on a trade deal, international media report. The agreement was concluded after a meeting in Scotland between Donald Trump and Ursula von der Leyen.

The EU agrees to 15 percent tariffs on most exports, writes Bloomberg. In addition, the EU commits to buying energy worth 750 billion dollars and investing 600 billion in the United States.
The announcement averts a trade war that could have dealt a severe blow to the global economy, writes the news agency.

Trump: EU will receive at least 15 percent tariffs
US trade tariffs on European goods will not fall below 15 percent, news agencies report.
