New Israeli attack in Yemen: “The Houthis will pay”
Israel is attacking Houthi-controlled targets in Yemen on Monday morning. Among the targets is the important port of Hodeida on the Red Sea, Israeli media reports.
This is Israel’s twelfth attack on the port since the start of the war, according to the Maariv newspaper. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) believe that the port is being used, among other things, to transfer weapons from Iran to the Iran-backed militia group, weapons that are then used to attack Israel.
In a statement, Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Yemen’s fate would be “the same as Tehran’s.”
“The Houthi rebels will pay a high price,” he said.

Aid organization: Israeli troops on their way into Dayr al-Balah
Israel
has launched a ground invasion of Dayr al-Balah in Gaza, according to
the aid organization MAP, whose staff work in the city.
The
attack means, among other things, that the organization has been forced
to close the clinic it operated in the city. MAP CEO Steve Cutts accuses
Israel of “systematically attacking aid and medical workers.”

Not only does it make our life-saving work for Palestinians impossible,
it also means that we cannot protect our own work teams.
Israel yesterday urged residents and refugees in the area to evacuate ahead of a planned attack.
