Donald Trump would "bomb the shit out of Moscow" and threatened China with the same thing.
This is evident from secret audio recordings from last year, CNN reports.

During a private meeting with donors, US President Donald Trump told about his attempt to deter Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
- I told Putin: If you go into Ukraine, I will bomb the shit out of Moscow.
I'm telling you - I have no choice, Trump is heard saying during a fundraising event ahead of the 2024 presidential election, according to the audio recording that CNN has seen.
"Thought I was crazy"
According to Donald Trump, Putin is said to have replied that he did not believe him.
- But he believed me ten percent, the president continues.
A similar warning is also said to have been sent to Chinas President Xi Jinping to prevent a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

The recording is one of several that have been leaked from the president's fundraising.
On another occasion, Trump boasted that he had pressured wealthy allies to donate hundreds of millions of kronor to the election campaign. In another recording, he can be heard talking about the student protests against the war in Gaza.
- One thing I would do is throw any student who protests out of the country.
Kremlin response
Donald Trump's administration has declined to comment on the recordings, according to CNN.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov is also sparing with words.
- I can't confirm or deny this, even if I wanted to. Whether it's fake or not, we don't know either. There's a lot of fake news these days, he says, according to Reuters.
