At least 13 people have lost their lives and many have been reported missing after a severe thunderstorm and rainstorm swept through parts of Texas in the United States, American media reports.
The local NBC channel reports that at least 20 children are missing after a flood hit a summer camp by the water. Up to 500 people are participating in a major search effort, according to Governor Dan Patrick.
In the Guadalupe River, water levels rose almost eight meters in 45 minutes during the night, according to Patrick.
