Here's the royal emblem for the coronation of King Vajiralongkorn in
May.
The pink creature on the left with the body of a lion and tusks and
trunk of an elephant is called a "kodchasri". It represents the military
and is carrying a 7-tiered umbrella to venerate the monarch
The white lion on the right, also carrying a seven-tiered umbrella,
represents Thailand's bureaucrats. The message the royal crest is trying
to convey is that King Vajiralongkorn's rule is supported by the
military and bureaucracy.
