Middle East Crisis US vs Iran

Report: Iran's uranium stockpile is still intact

Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium is largely intact after the US attacks on its nuclear facilities, according to intelligence shared with countries in Europe. This is stated by two sources with good insight to the Financial Times.

According to the information, a large amount of the enriched uranium was not at Fordow when US bombs fell on the nuclear facility. The intelligence indicates that the uranium was instead distributed in several different locations, the sources say.

Both Donald Trump and US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth criticize media outlets that claim that Iran's nuclear program was not destroyed in the attacks. In a post on Truth Social, the president says that moving the uranium would take too long and be too dangerous.

Sources: US may support a civil nuclear program

Donald Trump and his administration have several options on the table to lure Iran to the negotiating table. One option is to let Iran use up to 285 billion kronor to build a nuclear program for civilian use, several sources told CNN.

That option assumes that the money does not come directly from the US but from other partners to Iran, according to the information. Discussions about civil nuclear technology have occurred during previous talks between the US and Iran.

Other proposals that the administration has discussed are easing sanctions and releasing billions of dollars in withdrawn aid to Iran.

According to the channel, high-ranking officials from the US and Iran have held continuous talks, even during the days when the US attacked Iran.

White House: Trump open to meeting Netanyahu again

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to come to the United States to meet Donald Trump at the White House to celebrate the attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, sources tell Axios.

An Israeli source says that both the Israeli prime minister and the US president want to have a "victory party" after the war against Iran.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during the evening that Netanyahu has shown interest in coming to the White House.

- The president is of course very open to it, but we don't have a date yet, she says.
