Ukraine: The grain harvest is 40 percent less this year
Ukraine estimates that this year's grain harvest is 40 percent less than last year's because of Russia's invasion, writes TT.
Sergiy Ivashchenko, who heads Ukraine's trade association for grain farmers, believes the harvest will land at around 65-66 million tonnes this year.
Exports could resume this summer after an agreement was reached between Russia and Ukraine.
- But the occupation of several regions, battles in the fields and the destruction of infrastructure still affected production, says Sergiy Ivashtjenko.

The pressured situation in Swedish care means that Swedish hospitals have less opportunity to receive and care for patients from Ukraine. This is what the National Board of Health and Welfare's crisis preparedness manager Taha Alexandersson says to DN.
