Attacks from both directions – for the second night in a row

Israel and Iran continue their attacks on each other.

Over 100 rockets have been fired at Israel, reports Iranian state television.

For the second night in a row, Iran and Israel are carrying out rocket attacks on each other.

Around 100 rockets have been fired at Israel in the second wave of the operation dubbed “True promise 3”, reports Iranian state television, according to the BBC.

Haifa and Tel Aviv are the main targets of tonight’s attacks, according to Iranian media.

Iranian state television claims that Iran has hit military targets in Israel.

The Israeli military writes that civilians throughout the country should stay in shelters.

At the same time, Israel continues to attack Iran.

Israeli military spokeswoman Effie Defrin says in a televised press briefing on Saturday evening that the capital Tehran was the target of the latest bombing raid.

- Even now, our pilots continue to carry out extensive attacks in various parts of Iran, says Defrin.

He describes an intensive bombing campaign that has lasted for nearly 40 hours and included over 150 targets in Iran.

The suburbs of Chitgar and Sadra in Tehran have been attacked, writes the New York Times, referring to information from residents in the area. Witnesses report hearing fighter jets and explosions in the air.
