Airbus recall
Sources: New problems for Airbus – shares plummet

Airbus has discovered a quality problem affecting the panels of several dozen aircraft belonging to the A320 family of planes. This is stated by several industry sources to Reuters, just days after the aircraft manufacturer recalled 6,000 planes of the model due to a software error.

The suspected production error is said to have delayed some deliveries, but there are no current signs that it has affected aircraft in service according to the information. The origin of the error is also unclear.

The share falls on the information and is traded down nearly 10 percent in Paris.

The future of the defense
FMV orders off-road vehicles for 1.5 billion

The Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) is buying 94 armored off-road vehicles of the Patria 6x6 model worth 1.5 billion kronor.

– The Armed Forces have trained and evaluated the system for a year and a half and they are very satisfied, says project manager Håkan Larsson in a press release.

The order complements last year's order for 321 vehicles and means that a total of 415 vehicles will be delivered to Sweden between 2025 and 2030 – one of the largest investments in land vehicles in modern times, according to the authority.

A large part of the systems' content is produced in Swedish factories. The purchase is made within the framework of the CAVS cooperation with Finland, Denmark and the UK, among others.

Swedish billionaire leaves criticized oil company

Major owner and CEO Torbjörn Törnqvist is selling his stake in oil trader Gunvor and leaving the company. This is stated in a press release.

Törnqvist will sell his share in the company to "a group of current employees" who will then own Gunvor in its entirety. The new CEO will be former Americas manager Gary Pedersen.

Törnqvist owns 86 percent of Gunvor, which he founded together with Putin-linked Gennady Timchenko. The announcement that Törnqvist is now exiting the company comes just weeks after a major deal between Gunvor and Russian Lukoil was stopped by the US, which called the company a “Kremlin puppet,” writes the Financial Times.
