Iran: We are at war with the US, Europe and Israel

Iran is in a “full-scale war” with the US, Europe and Israel. This is what President Masoud Pezeshkian says according to the Financial Times.

– They do not want our country to stand upright [...] and surround us on all sides: economically, culturally, politically and in terms of security, he says in an interview with the Supreme Leader’s website Khamenei.ir.

The statement comes ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s meeting with Donald Trump on Monday, where Iran is expected to be discussed. According to sources to NBC News, Netanyahu will try to persuade Trump to approve new attacks on Iran.

Scandalous ship that left woman behind has run aground

The Australian cruise ship Coral Adventurer ran aground off Papua New Guinea this weekend, several media outlets report.

All 80 passengers and 43 crew members escaped unharmed. The ship has been brought ashore and will now be inspected.

As recently as October, the Coral Adventurer was in the eye of the world media after forgetting an elderly woman on an island during one of its stops. The woman was later found dead.

Spanish football coach dies in boat accident in Indonesia

Spanish football coach Fernando Martín and three of his children have been found dead after an accident in Indonesia. The family was on board a tourist boat that sank due to bad weather off the resort town of Labuan Bajo on Saturday, Reuters reports.

Fernando Martín played football at a high level as an active player and worked as a coach for Valencia's women's B team. His wife and one of his daughters survived the accident.

"We are deeply shocked by the news," the club wrote in a statement.
