Thailand's army claims it is working hard to combat COVID-19 by disinfecting the streets of Bangkok every night. But there is no evidence at all that forcing young conscripts to spray disinfectant around a few streets has any impact at all. 1/2Like many things in Thailand, it is just for show. Regardless of whether it does any good or is just a waste of time, army leaders want to be seen to be doing something. 2/2
