UPDATE — Here is the latest on what we know so far about the death of Princess Bajrakitiyabha yesterday. During a Royal Thai Army event to run with dogs at the Working Dog Championship contest in Pak Chong district yesterday she had a heart attack. 1/6

 

She was already dead on arrival at Pak Chong Nana Hospital but medical staff took turns to try CPR to try to save her even though it was hopeless. This went on for hours. Meanwhile Vajiralongkorn rushed to the hospital in a military helicopter. 2/6

 

 A decision was taken to move her to Bangkok. In the early hours of today, hospital helicopter HS-BHQ took off from Pak Chong to Chulalomgkorn Hospital. The helicopter did not file details of its location of departure and destination but the flight path could be tracked. 3/6

 

At Chulalongkorn Hospital she is being kept artificially alive with ECMO treatment, which is a way of keeping people alive when their heart and lungs cannot function. But doctors already concluded today that she is brain dead and will never recover. 4/6

 

Rather than let her die with dignity, the royalist regime is weaponising her demise to stir up pro-monarchy sentiment. They are going to pretend to keep her alive for a while. The supreme patriarch has told monks to pray for her recovery twice a day. 5/6

 

 

 

All of this is just a lie, and it shows the ghastly dishonesty of the Thai regime. There are implications for the election that was due to be held in March. She died yesterday. Let her go.  6/6

Princess Bajrakitiyabha died yesterday. The only thing we need to know now is how long it will take for the palace and regime to tell the truth.

 

She died yesterday. This is beyond horrible to pretend otherwise.
