BREAKING: Tawan, one two young lese majeste detainees on hunger strike, suffered from a cut on her head after when fell to the ground, said Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR) who represent the two on Monday.
Tawan and Bam have been taken to prison hospital on Friday after they went on hunger strike in prison on Wednesday night, Thai Lawyers for Human Rights cited their parents. The two unilaterally withdrew their bails last Monday. The hunger strike started after their three demands were not met in three days. The demands are: release all political prisoners, justice system reform and all political parties must call for the abolition of the lese majeste as well as sedition laws.
They ask to be transferred back to prison from the hospital, saying they don't trust prison hospital, TLHR said.

A South Asian man was arrested at Suvarnabhumi International Airport for smuggling 79,200 psychotropic pills into Thailand on Friday, said police on Monday.
Ansari Anwar, 57, flew from Karachi. The pills include 40,800 diazepam and 23,800 zolpidem tratrate. If found guilty, Anwar could face up to 15 years in prison for possession of class-two psychotropic substances and fine of up to 1.5 million baht. #Thailand #WhatsHappeningInThailand #KE
