The Swedish royal family
Look here, the king! Your daughter Victoria is already one of the hardest working royals in Europe.
Our Swedish crown princess takes fourth place, before father the king but after king Felipe, king Philippe and crown prince Haakon.
Right now it is storming in many European royal houses. Female succession to the throne, removal of titles and how much one can actually reveal about one's royal family have been various topics that the debate has been about.
But how much do the royals actually work?
The site Ufo no more has mapped how many public missions some of the representatives of Europe's monarchies have had in 2022. The site has gone through public calendars but also various social media. If the royal family has had different assignments during the same day, it has been counted as a commitment.

He has created thousands of headlines
The list is topped by Spain's King Felipe, who by far has had the most public missions, 194 days,
King Charles has not been charted, the site has focused on the younger talents, but the British royals are nowhere near Crown Princess Victorias 141 days. Incidentally, she beats her father the king, who has had 134 missions.
In Britain, Prince Harry's book has made thousands of headlines before it even came out. In candid interviews, he turns his childhood inside out, and talks about his father, King Charles, in a way that hasn't happened before. He has left the royal house and openly criticizes the institution.
Even in Denmark, Prince Joachim has broken a code when he openly criticized his mother, Queen Margrethe, and her decision to strip his children of their titles.
In Norway, Princess Märtha Louise has been banned from representing the royal family. For years, her activities have clashed with royal duties and her boyfriend, Durek Verrett, has also caused many scandals.
Queen Màxima has carried out more missions than Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Märtha Louise. Märtha is no longer allowed to work for the royal family due to several controversies and Mette-Marit suffers from pulmonary fibrosis, which means that she cannot work as much as before. "I'm proud of her"
Both King Harald and Queen Margrethe rank high among working royals, especially given their age. King Harald turns 86 in February and Margrethe turns 83 in April.
When our King Carl Gustaf in an SVT program, "Sveriges sista kungar" once again commented on the fact that Prince Carl Philip lost his crown prince title due to the succession order being changed, a discussion broke out in Sweden about the existence or non-existence of the monarchy.
Many interpreted the king's statements as if he did not support either female succession to the throne or fully appreciated his daughter's efforts.
In the end, the court was forced to issue a special statement from the king.
"The female succession to the throne is a matter of course for me. The Crown Princess is my successor. She is an extraordinary asset to me, my family and our country. I am proud of her and her tireless work for Sweden.”

Margareta Thorgren, head of information at the court, comments on the incident in an email:
"We have a very dutiful head of state and future head of state. Both the king and the crown princess work hard together for Sweden. Therefore, the King's written statement was important after last week's media reporting.”
But when it comes to public duties, the crown princess already beats her father the king, even if it's only a few days apart.
