Thrown pie at the crown jewels – closed the Tower

Four people have been arrested after they threw food at a glass case containing the British crown jewels.

The famous tourist destination, the Tower, has been closed during the day.

Armed with apple pie and custard, four protesters went wild on the glass case with the crown jewels.

In English, apple pie is called "apple crumble" and with the slogan "Democracy has crumbled" the group referred to the pie they threw at the case.

The four belong to a non-violent resistance group that wants to tax the rich to a higher extent than is done today.
