US attack on Venezuela

Trump: “No more oil and money to Cuba”

Donald Trump is tightening his grip on Cuba. No more oil or money will go to the island nation from Venezuela, he writes on Truth Social.

“There will be no more oil or money going to Cuba. Zero!” he writes.

At the same time, he urges the country to reach a settlement “before it’s too late”.

When a user on the platform suggests that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio could become Cuba’s president, Trump replies: “That sounds good to me”. At the same time, he shares another post from political commentator Marc Thiessen who speculates whether the Cuban regime – which has survived since the days of Eisenhower – could end with Trump.

Cuba hits back at the US: “Acting criminally”

The US is “acting criminally” and threatening peace and security throughout the world. This is what Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez wrote on X after Donald Trump launched a harsh attack on the country.

The American president wrote earlier in the day that neither oil nor money will go to Cuba from Venezuela from now on.

In his post, Rodríguez writes that Cuba has the right to import fuel from countries that want to export without the United States interfering.

Maduro's son: "He is doing well"

Venezuela's ousted president Nicolás Maduro is "doing well" in American custody where he is currently awaiting trial. This is stated by his son, according to AFP.

"We are doing well. We are fighters," Maduro is said to have told his son according to a video released by the ruling party in Venezuela, PSUV.
