More British drones to Ukraine

The UK is pledging 120,000 new drones in yet another aid package for Ukraine.

– Drones have shaped this war and will be crucial to how it ends. That is why today I am announcing Britain's largest drone aid this year, says Defense Secretary John Healey at the press conference after yet another meeting of the so-called Contact Group for Ukraine's Defense.

The British support follows new German promises on Tuesday. Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov also thanks Belgium, Bulgaria, Norway and Estonia for recent contributions.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius also believes that the EU's billion-euro loan to Ukraine will soon become a reality.

- After the elections in Hungary, I expect that the blockade in the EU will soon be lifted. Ukraine can count on us, says Pistorius after the meeting in Berlin.
