Israel has killed at least 30 people and wounded another 30 in Gaza on Thursday. This is reported by AFP, citing Hamas-controlled authorities.
One of the attacks was aimed at a school that has become a refugee camp for hundreds of internally displaced people. The Palestinian Civil Defense Authority says at least 13 people died in the attack and that there are women and children among the victims.
Israel says it has carried out precision strikes against terrorists operating at the school.
"Hamas terrorists used these facilities for terrorist activities and to plan and carry out terrorist acts," the IDF wrote in a statement.

Syrian war Fall of al-Assad regime
US ready for formal meeting with HTS leader in Syria
Joe Biden is sending his top diplomats to Syria for a meeting with rebel leader Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, sources told the Financial Times.
The meeting will be the first formal between the US and the HTS leader who recently overthrew dictator Bashar al-Assad. The US priority after al-Assad's fall has been to prevent terrorists from gaining a foothold in Syria. al-Jolani, for his part, wants sanctions against Syria lifted and for the US to remove him from its terror list.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has previously said that the US is willing to lift the terror designation if HTS creates a democratic government that fights terrorism and protects human rights.
FT sources say that the US views the statements made by al-Jolani so far positively, but that it wants to see positive actions before drawing any conclusions.
