EU expands sanctions against Russia's shadow fleet

The EU expands its sanctions package against Russia and adds, among other things, 52 ships to the shadow fleet. Several Chinese actors are also subject to travel bans and asset freezes after supplying technology to the Russian army.

- The step to full sanctions is an important signal to the Chinese that we take this very seriously, a diplomat told Reuters.

Trump: It will take 100 years to rebuild Ukraine

Donald Trump, who in a little over a month will take over the post of President of the United States, is appalled by the death toll during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

- People are being killed at an unprecedented rate, he says at a press conference according to Sky News.

Just like many times before, he claims a large part of the blame lies with Joe Biden and his administration. Trump says there were no wars when he left the White House and that the world is now "on fire."

He also claims again that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if he were president.

- Now all these people are dead and several cities are destroyed. It will take 100 years to build up and it will not be as it once was, he says.
