NRK review: 40 cases can be linked to Swedish gangs

At least 40 Norwegian criminal cases in recent years can be linked to the Swedish gang environment, reports NRK, which has reviewed Swedish crime that has crossed the border.

The review shows that 100 people, with either Swedish or Norwegian citizenship, have been involved. This applies to crimes that took place between 2020 and 2024 and in nine different police districts.

These include violent crimes, drug crimes and attempts to establish themselves in Norway. Several cases involve Swedish teenagers who have gone to the neighboring country to commit crimes on behalf of Swedish and Norwegian criminals.
