Trump after bloody Kiev attack: "Not happy"

Russia has carried out its bloodiest attack since the Alaska summit.
At least 21 people have been killed in Kiev and the search in the rubble is ongoing.
– I am not happy, but I am not surprised either, says Donald Trump via his press secretary.
The missile rain on Kiev lasted for over an hour, according to Ukrainian officials.
A five-story building was bombed to pieces while other homes were damaged.
On Thursday evening, the death toll had risen to 21 people.
Images from the Ukrainian capital show rescue workers searching for people in the rubble.
– Russia chooses bombs instead of negotiations. They choose to kill instead of ending the war. This means that Russia still does not fear the consequences, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj.
Sabotaging peace
Offices belonging to the EU and the UK were also destroyed in the attack, which led to the decision to summon Russian envoys.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemns the attack as “senseless” and accuses Russia of sabotaging hopes for peace.
Turnaround after the meeting
The attack is the largest since Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin’s “warm meeting” in Alaska a couple of weeks ago.
Now the American president sounds less than pleased.
– President Trump says he is not happy, but not surprised either, says his press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
At the same time, she highlights that Ukrainian forces have attacked Russian oil facilities.
– It may be that both sides are not ready to end the war.
According to Leavitt, Trump is expected to make more statements later on Thursday.
