Ukraine and the US will hold new talks on a peace agreement in the Ukraine war this evening

US envoy Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner will meet the Ukrainian delegation in Miami on Friday, Ukrainian sources told several news agencies.

The discussions concern Russia's response to the Miami talks that took place last weekend. Witkoff and Kushner met Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday for a nearly five-hour meeting. Exactly what was said then has not been made public, but signals from Russia do not indicate any breakthrough - parts of the proposal "do not suit" the regime in Moscow, it was said this week.

The US and Ukraine reportedly met on Thursday, but it is still unclear whether the countries held talks then.
