UPDATE—Thailand’s best known police officer, Lieutenant General Surachate Hakparn, a key ally of deputy dictator Prawit Wongsuwan, was arrested at the Pullman Hotel in Bangkok on Friday night.
“Big Joke” had a room at the hotel, owned by the King Power duty free monopoly.
