Pls Mind The Gap!
State
Railway of Thailand defended its pricey 33-million-baht new sign from
Bang Sue Grand Station to Krung Thep Abhiwat Central Terminal by saying
it has to change the glass panels attached to the alphabets as well and
that's why it's costly. Khaosod Thai discovered on Wednesday that
contrary to the claim, the letters were attached to a metal structure
and not directly to the glass wall.
Tourism
Authority of Thailand Phuket Office Chief Nantasiri Ronsiri said on
Wednesday Phuket is ready to welcome back Chinese tourists with a
special campaign. She said the campaign will include promotions of menus
cooked with Phuket lobsters as well as pineapple. Nantasiri said after
nearly three years, Chinese tourists will get a chance to return to
their favourite resort and visit the island once again. Promotional
campaign, she said, is being sent out to TAT offices in China for
dissemination in time for China's lifting of COVID-19-related travel
restrictions this Sunday. #Thailand #WhatsHappeningInThailand #China #Phuket #KE #ภูเก็ต
Tourists queue up to exchange money at a shop in Asoke on Tuesday. Many such shops close down during COVID-19 pandemic when foreign tourists were gone. Now there seems to not be enough of them, particularly when Chinese tourists will finally return to Thailand from Sunday. (Photos by Pravit Rojanaphruk.) #Thailand #WhatsHappeningInThailand #KE
