The fire on the freighter Fremantle Highway
The freighter in the North Sea can "burn for days"
Dutch firefighters are still struggling to put out the fire that broke out on a cargo ship in the North Sea off the Dutch coast on Tuesday evening, AP writes.
- The temperature on board is still very high and it is difficult to extinguish the fire, says Coast Guard spokesperson Edwin Granneman.
The ship's owner, Shoei Kisen Kaisha, says it may be "that the fire started with electric cars", but added that the cause still needs to be investigated.
The Coast Guard has stated that the fire could last "for several days", which could lead to an ecological disaster on a nearby chain of islands.
23 people were on board when the fire broke out and one crew member died as a result of the fire.

Whistleblower testified: "US is hiding UFO program"
On
Wednesday, retired American intelligence officer David Grusch gave his
hotly anticipated testimony before Congress, AP writes.
Grusch claims that US authorities have been secretly collecting and working on crashed alien craft for decades. He claims that the authorities have been aware of "non-human" activity since the 1930s.
The former major says he decided to become a whistleblower after the discovery, and has since been subjected to harassment.
-
They used very brutal tactics to hurt me both professionally and
personally, he says, but does not go into details, citing an ongoing
investigation.
The Pentagon has consistently denied Grusch's allegations of a cover-up.
If Grusch is found guilty of lying to Congress, he faces prison for perjury.
