Kremlin: Putin plans to visit China in October
Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to visit China in October, the Kremlin says according to AFP.
- We have received an invitation and plan to visit China and the "One Belt, One Road" forum, says his adviser Yuri Ushakov.
"One Belt, One Road" - also called the "New Silk Road" - is a comprehensive Chinese infrastructure project for trade routes in Eurasia.
It will be Putin's first trip to China since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. In March, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Moscow and proclaimed that the countries' partnership is "boundless".
