Fast food chains want to dodge “psychological ceiling”

As inflation and prices have risen in recent years, a new challenge has emerged for US fast food chains: continuing to feel cheap. According to analysts and analysts that Market Watch spoke to, there is an invisible upper limit of $10 for a menu item that acts as a breakpoint for customers. Over $10? Then it is no longer considered affordable.

“It’s like a psychological ceiling,” says restaurant entrepreneur Aaron Anderson.

He is supported by Mark Kalinowski, a long-time fast food analyst, who points out that price increases in the sector have always been sensitive.

In order to attract customers, whose wallets are increasingly squeezed by the state of the economy, there has been fierce competition to see which chain can offer the cheapest price.

For the tenth time, Elon Musk's Space X will try to launch one of its Starship rockets into space. This time, the goal is to test improved versions of parts that are important for achieving the company's dream of reusable spacecraft, writes Reuters.

The launch will take place at 01.30, Swedish time, in Texas. This time, Space X aims to get the booster called Super Heavy to land in the Gulf of Mexico. Previously, the company has managed to get the booster to return to Earth and be captured by large mechanical arms, which was a great success.

H&M opens first store in Brazil – there will be more

H&M opened its first physical store in Brazil on Saturday and has launched local sales in the country, reports Reuters. The goal is to open four stores in the state of Sao Paulo in the coming months, says the company's Brazil manager Joaquim Pereira.

H&M will compete locally, but not necessarily against Chinese fast-fashion giants like Shein.

“It’s a market with fierce competition, regardless of whether it’s a Chinese or a local company,” Pereira said, according to Reuters.

Preparations have reportedly been underway for years. H&M announced its intention to invest in the country just over two years ago.
