The Development of AI
“Dr. Doom” Dismisses AI Bubble: “False”
Despite increased tariffs and pessimistic assessments, American exceptionalism persists, writes economics professor and strategist Nouriel “Dr. Doom” Roubini in the Financial Times. The explanation: Tech, AI, robotics and quantum computers are driving GDP growth and stock returns – where the US has an advantage.
Rouibini admits that there will be temporary corrections and technological disruptions that create winners and losers.
“The now common view that the US stock market is in a massive bubble and is doomed to crash is, however, incorrect in the medium term,” he writes.
Nouriel Roubini was one of the economists who predicted the crash of 2008 and was then nicknamed “Dr. Doom.”

Enhanced Games
“Doping Olympics” to be listed on the stock exchange – valued at 11 billion
Enhanced Games, the sports event where performance-enhancing drugs are allowed, is to be listed on Nasdaq via a spac company, reports the FT. The deal values the company at $1.2 billion, equivalent to 11.4 billion kronor, and could provide up to $200 million in new capital.
Behind the venture are, among others, Peter Thiel, Donald Trump Jr, the Winklevoss twins and Saudi Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed. The company has also taken $40 million in a separate round.
The first competitions will be held in Las Vegas in May next year. Swimmer Ben Proud and sprinter Fred Kerley are ready to start, while criticism is fierce. World Athletics chief Sebastian Coe has called the project “nonsense”.
The listing is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026.
