A major police operation is underway at a school in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. 

According to information in the local media, several people have been shot at a school.  

Several of the victims are said to be children.  

Several people have been injured after a school shooting at an elementary school in Nashville in the United States, US media reports.  

The emergency services in Nashville write on their Twitter that they are out on a mission at a school.

According to the local television station News Channel 5, children are said to be among those who have been shot. 

According to the local police in Nashville, the perpetrator must be shot and dead.
