- There were riot police, tear gas, burning garbage cans, incendiary bombs and reporters with helmets I met at the demonstration. So it has degenerated, she says.
Le Monde writes that around 800,000 people in Paris show their dissatisfaction with the pension reform, but demonstrations are reported from all over the country.
