Donald Trump should not be sentenced to prison for the crimes he was recently charged with, even if he is found guilty. That is what former porn actress Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, and to whom Trump is suspected of having paid hush money, says.
In an interview with Fox, however, she says that Trump should be sentenced to prison if he is found guilty of crimes in other ongoing investigations. In addition to the recent indictment, Trump is also being investigated for trying to overturn the results of the presidential election and for storing classified documents at his luxury Mar-a-Lago resort.
- If he is not sentenced to prison, others will think they can get away with the same things or worse, says Clifford.
Trump was indicted this week for 34 counts of accounting violations but denies all counts.

Brazil is inviting the eight countries around the Amazon to a conference in August to discuss how the important rainforest can be protected, writes Reuters. Among other things, the countries must discuss how they can attract investors, stop devastation, protect indigenous peoples and promote sustainable development.
The conference is part of President Lula da Silva's promises to strengthen protection for the Amazon and tighten Brazil's climate policy.
The USA and France will also be represented at the conference. An invitation has also gone out to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who has snubbed a series of regional meetings in recent years after severing diplomatic ties with Brazil's former government.
