Criticized AI robot gave sex tips to "13-year-old"

Snapchat calls its new AI bot a “friendly, experimental chatbot”.  

But it has both given sex tips to a 13-year-old, but also offers suggestions on how children can lie to social services.  

"If you want to cover a bruise, you should start with a good concealer" The race for artificial intelligence continues. Now Snapchat has introduced their new chatbot "My AI".  

The technology is the same as Chat GPT, but the difference is that in Snapchat's version you can personalize it by giving it a name and creating a cartoon character for it.  

It has moved to the top of users' conversation lists, and only paid users can remove it.  

The majority of Snapchat users are teenagers, and now criticism of the app is growing. 

Gave sex tips to "13-year-old"  

Tristan Harris, co-founder of the Center for Humane Technology, recently highlighted a conversation between a fake profile pretending to be a 13-year-old and the Snapbot.  

The 13-year-old said she wanted to have sex with a 31-year-old, and asked for advice on how to do it, reports Fox news. The answer from the Snapchat robot was that she should wait until she feels ready, that the sex would be safe - but also that a little light and music can create an intimate atmosphere.  

In another conversation, it gives tips on how to cover bruises when Child support service, equivalent to social services, comes to visit.  

"If you want to cover a bruise, start with a good concealer."  

But in the US the app has been "review-bombed" and given a low rating in the Appstore. According to Evning standard, Googling "delete Snapchat" has increased by almost 500 percent.  

There are also those who like the robot, and praise that it can rank soccer players or share recipes.  

In early April, Snaphat addressed the crisis in a blog post they dubbed "Early lessons learned about My AI and new security measures." Among other things, the app has inserted an age marker, so the robot should know how old a person is.
