The Fox slot for Tucker Carlson is over.
Now the presenter star is leaving the channel.
CNN is also getting rid of anchor Don Lemon.
The well-known host Tucker Carlson, 53, is leaving Fox News.
In a press release, the television channel writes that they and Carlson have agreed to "go their separate ways".
The news follows last week's announcement that vote-counting company Dominion and Fox News have reached a settlement in a high-profile case, in which the broadcaster was accused of knowingly spreading lies about election fraud in prime time.
Carlson was at risk of being called as a witness in the trial, after several emails and text messages were revealed in which he and several other Fox stars criticized Donald Trump and his claims of election fraud - while spreading the same accusations on television.
But the trial was canceled at the last moment, and Fox must pay the equivalent of 8.1 billion Swedish kroner to Dominion.

Hosted the popular show
Fox has not given a specific reason why their star is now leaving.
Tucker Carlson joined Fox in 2009. Since 2016, he has hosted the popular program “Tucker Carlson Tonight”.
The announcement that he is now making is described as "shocking" and "amazing" in the American media.

Even Lemon gets to leave
A few hours after the announcement from Fox News, competitor CNN announced that their host and news anchor Don Lemon is also leaving.
As in the case with Fox, CNN and Lemon have also agreed to "go their separate ways".
- I found out this morning that I was going to quit, says a bitter Don Lemon in a press release.
Most recently, Don Lemon co-hosted CNN's morning show with Kaitlan Collins and Poppy Harlow.
