Hamas and Fatah agree on Gaza governance after the war
Hamas and Fatah have agreed to create a committee that will jointly govern Gaza after the war ends, reports AFP, which has seen a draft of the proposal.
Representatives of Hamas and Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas' party have met in Cairo in recent days to talk about the ongoing Gaza war. For the new proposal to become a reality, Abbas must sign the agreement.
If approved, the committee will be responsible for the influx of humanitarian aid and the Rafah border crossing.

Israel threatens to attack Lebanon's army as well
If the current cease-fire is broken, Israel will hold the Lebanese state responsible, and war against its army as well. This is what Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz says, according to The Guardian.
According to Katz, the Lebanese army has an obligation to do its part and contain Hezbollah north of the Litani River, in accordance with the cease-fire agreement.
- If the ceasefire collapses, exceptions will no longer be made for the Lebanese state [...] So far we have made a distinction between Lebanon and Hezbollah, but that will no longer be the case.
