Former TV4 profile Dermot Clemenger is wanted internationally, reports Expressen.

He is being indicted on suspicion of 32 cases of sex purchases.

Now he is suspected of actively staying away and the sex purchases risk being time-barred.

Former jury member in TV4's "Let's dance" Dermot Clemenger, 51, was arrested in his absence on probable cause on suspicion of 30 sex purchases.

Prosecutor Per Svensson has previously stated that Clemenger will be wanted abroad. Now the prosecutor confirms to Expressen that the TV4 profile has been wanted both nationally and internationally.

The sex purchases are said to have taken place in 2023 and early 2024 and the first charges are at risk of soon becoming statute-barred.

Aftonbladet has unsuccessfully sought a comment from the prosecutor.

The TV4 profile's lawyer: "Diametrically different opinions"

The TV4 profile's lawyer Magnus Arntell has been very tight-lipped about the charges but said in connection with the detention hearing that he opposed the detention request.

- I have no further comments about what was discussed other than that we had diametrically different opinions regarding the condition for detaining my principal, he told Aftonbladet.

Dermot Clemenger has admitted to 31 of the 32 suspected sex purchases that are said to have been made at Thai massage parlors in various Swedish cities.

Aftonbladet has contacted Dermot Clemenger on several occasions. The newspaper has also contacted the profile's lawyer for a comment on the international wanted list.
