At least 13 people have died in floods in southern Thailand.
A state of emergency has been declared in Songkhla province in anticipation of more rain.
Floodwaters are reaching residents to their waists and many cannot leave their homes or hotels due to the amount of water.
Local TV channels show images of people being evacuated by boats, jet skis and military vehicles. Among other things, the tourist resort of Hat Yai is under water.
More than 1,200 people have been evacuated from their homes in the province since Thursday.
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul announced that more boats and trucks will be deployed in the evacuation effort.
