A luxurious floor for SEK 63 million in London's most exclusive neighbourhood.

It's Sara "Fergie" Ferguson's latest purchase - even though she's broke.

- Many were very surprised when she thundered with such an apartment in London, says court expert Sara Ericsson.

The famous floor in Belgravia was originally two large apartments that have been combined into one. The price for the home was SEK 63 million when the purchase went through in June last year.

As neighbors they have some of Britain's richest people. Princess Madeleine also lived in the same block during the years she lived in London with her family.

The previous owner was the Duke of Westminster, 31, who inherited a billion-dollar fortune from his father and is close friends with Princes Harry and William.

The pedophile paid off parts of her loan

How Fergie could afford to complete the purchase was initially a mystery. According to the legal documents obtained by The Mail on Sunday, the purchase is not financed by any bank loans.

- It's not some small creep we're talking about for that sum, says Sara Ericsson.

The expensive home purchase comes after years of reporting about Fergie's financial struggles. She herself has said that she is constantly on the verge of financial bankruptcy.

According to British media, Fergie had around SEK 52 million in debt during her marriage to Prince Andrew.  The prince's famous friend Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of pedophilia, helped pay off part of the loans.

Fergie is said to be wasteful and a person who doesn't have a handle on her finances. After the divorce, she advertised for, among other things, Weight Watchers to earn money.

Can't afford to stay

The answer to the big question about the 63 million is Fergie's daughters. According to the legal documents, the property cannot be sold without their consent, which according to British experts indicates that they are the actual owners of the house.

The princesses see the property as a smart investment for the future while being able to help their mother. Soon Fergie may be forced to leave her home Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Despite the divorce, Fergie has lived with her ex-husband in the large royal property. However, as King Charles is likely to reduce the financial support for his brother, it is not certain that Andrew and Fergie can afford to stay.

Then the new apartment will be a security for the couple.

King Charles can - if he wants - offer Andrew and Fergie a cheaper royal residence. But should that not happen, Prince Andrew and Fergie have secured a roof over their heads thanks to their daughters.
