Donald Trump: Unreal that they are arresting me
During ex-president Donald Trump's trip to the court in Manhattan, he took the opportunity to write a message on his social network Truth Social, reports NBC News.
“This feels unreal. WOW, they're going to arrest me. Can't understand that this is happening in the US," he writes.
Trump has maintained throughout the process that he is innocent and that the charges against him are politically motivated. He has not provided any evidence for this.

The impeachment against Trump
No threats received - but the New York police are ready
New York City Mayor Eric Adams says in a statement that the city has not received any credible threats ahead of ex-President Donald Trump's impeachment tonight, CNN reports.
However, the city says it is prepared to deal with violence if such should arise. Around 35,000 police are ready to move in, and the New York Times writes that the police force is both larger and better trained than many countries' militaries.
- My message to troublemakers who come here is clear, control yourself. New York is our home and not the place for your misdirected anger, Eric Adams said during a press conference on Monday.
In its live report, the New York Times describes today's development as "relatively peaceful".
