Donald Trump is now on his way to New York.
Tomorrow, the indictment against him will be read out in court.
The authorities are worried about violence and disturbances in connection with the visit.
Donald Trump, former president of the United States, is on his way to New York today. He just left his Mar-a-Lago house in Florida.
Trump himself also writes about his upcoming trip on the social network Truth Social.
"I'm going, believe it or not, to court," he writes.
In New York, Trump will have the indictment read to him. It is scheduled for Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. local time.
Warns of violence
In connection with the former president leaving Florida for New York, the White House warns that it could get messy.
According to the Reuters news agency, there are warnings of violence.
The authorities suspect that supporters of the ex-president may gather for demonstrations and create riots.
Some have also flagged such things on social media.
After the former president's first post on Truth Social that he was at risk of arrest, one account said it "has the president's back" and wrote that "all hell will break loose" if he is indicted.
Donald Trump himself has fired at his supporters in a series of posts.
“PROTEST. TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK," he wrote, among other things, in capital letters.

Payment to porn star
The background to the indictment is the investigation into porn star Stormy Daniels and the money from the president's campaign coffers that she received before the 2016 election to keep quiet about their alleged affair.
The money was paid out by Trump's then-lawyer Michael Cohen during the 2016 election campaign, something he himself admitted and testified about in the hearings with the grand jury.
The former president is suspected of having reimbursed Cohen for the outlay and booked it as campaign expenses.
The payment is considered, according to the indictment, as a violation of the regulations on campaign funds before the 2016 presidential election.
Normal procedure in court
In court, Donald Trump will first go through a standard procedure. He will be photographed and leave his fingerprints.
He will then be allowed to meet a judge and the prosecutor will read out the indictment. After that, according to his lawyers, he will deny the crime.
Trump has claimed on numerous occasions that he is innocent. In connection with this, he has also accused prosecutor Alvin Bragg, the Democrat who is leading the investigation against him, of sabotaging his future opportunities in politics.
“This is the worst political persecution and electoral fraud in history. Ever since I descended the golden escalator at Trump Tower and before I was sworn in as President of the United States, the radical left within the Democrats – the enemy of hardworking men and women – has been engaged in a witch hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement.” , he has written, among other things.
