Political situation in Poland
Controversial Polish law on Russian influence takes effect
Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Monday that he will approve a controversial law aimed at reducing Russian political influence in the country, AP writes.
According to the law, a state commission must be formed with the aim of punishing politicians who are considered to be running Russia's affairs. Among other things, the commission gets the power to exclude individuals from political office for up to ten years.
However, experts and critics believe that it violates the country's constitution and risks being used as a weapon against the opposition.
Not least the opposition leader Donald Tusk, who has been accused by the government of having "anti-Polish values", is believed to be in the crosshairs. This is reported by Ekot's Poland correspondent Samuel Larsson.

The conflict between Kosovo and Serbia
25 NATO soldiers injured in unrest in Kosovo
Around 25 soldiers from the NATO peacekeeping force Kfor in Kosovo have been injured in violent demonstrations on Monday, several media reports.
"Several Italian and Hungarian Kfor soldiers were subjected to unprovoked attacks and sustained fractures and burns from explosive objects," Kfor writes in a statement.
Behind the violence in northern Kosovo are ethnic Serb protesters, who are demanding the ouster of newly appointed ethnic Albanian mayors.
Kosovo Serbs boycotted last month's local elections, which allowed the Albanians to take power despite a voter turnout of less than 3.5 percent.
