New problems in negotiations – SFP refuses the deadline
The True Finns have announced that they intend to withdraw from the government negotiations if the parties do not reach "sufficient results" on Friday evening. According to information to Svenska Yle, the Swedish People's Party (SFP) is frustrated by the demand and does not intend to respond to Sannfinländarna's ultimatum until Saturday.
The negotiations have been ongoing since May 2 and have revolved around immigration and climate policy in recent days. The negotiations include the Sannfinländarna, the Swedish People's Party, the Christian Democrats and the Collection Party, led by government prober Petteri Orpo.

Steps towards a new government – agreement on stumbling blocks
After intensive negotiations, the Finnish right-wing parties have managed to reach a common line on climate and immigration policy. This was announced by the government-former Petteri Orpo, leader of the Samlingspartiet, at a press conference.
Despite this, the government negotiations are not quite finished and will continue during Saturday, according to Orpo. The Swedish People's Party (SFP) has not yet decided whether they will give their approval.
- This has been a very high pressure on everyone. It is really good that we have come this far, says Orpo according to Iltalehti.
