Russia: No talks on new grain deal
No talks on resuming the grain agreement with Ukraine are currently underway. This is what Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin says, according to the Russian news agency RIA, writes Reuters.
Last week, Russia announced that it had suspended the agreement securing Ukrainian grain exports on the Black Sea.
The agreement, drawn up by the United Nations with the help of Turkey last year, aims to end the global food crisis by allowing safe exports previously halted by the war.
Among other things, the UN has warned that several countries risk starvation and death as a result of Russia's decision not to extend the agreement.

Russian invasionUnrest at the power plants
The IAEA has found mines at Zaporizhzhya
Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA have found mines in the area around the occupied nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhya, according to a press release.
"Having such explosives on site is incompatible with the IAEA's safety standards and guidelines for nuclear safety and causes additional psychological pressure on the facility's personnel," said Rafael Grossi, head of the UN agency.
The mines do not pose a direct danger to those working at the facility, nor should they affect nuclear safety systems, according to Grossi.
