Ten have died and 30 are injured after a pickup truck drove into New Year's Eve revelers in New Orleans, local authorities report.
The attack took place on the famous tourist street Bourbon Street in the French Quarter.
On New Year's Day, it was confirmed that ten people have died and 30 have been injured in New Orleans after a pickup truck drove into a New Year's Eve celebration crowd at high speed, writes NOLA Ready, the local disaster preparedness agency.
The attack took place on Bourbon Street in the famous tourist area of the French Quarter shortly after 03 local time.
Bourbon Street is internationally known as a party street, especially during New Year's.

The police tell ABC News that no one has been arrested for the act.
There is also no information about how many people participated in the attack or if there is a known motive.
Immediately after the attack, the streets around the crime scene were filled with a large number of police cars and ambulances. The neighborhood was also closed off to the public.
