EU foreign policy chief wants to meet with Rubio about Greenland

The foreign ministers of the EU countries discussed Donald Trump's statements about Greenland in Brussels today, Danish TV2 reports. At a press conference afterwards, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said she had invited US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for talks.

“I am also willing to visit Washington as soon as possible,” she said.

At the same time, Kallas stressed that the EU is not negotiating about Greenland, but that the Union “supports the member state Denmark and its autonomous region of Greenland.”
