A phenomenon has been seen in the sky in southern Stockholm and in Södertälje.
Something that several people have reacted to.
- It was a strange sight, says Zaid.
At around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, several residents in southern Stockholm and in Södertälje saw something in the sky.
Several people have sent pictures to Aftonbladet of what looks like a strange cloud - or a plane that has crashed.
- I thought it might have been a drone. I don't really know, says Zaid, one of several who captured the phenomenon on film.
But according to the Swedish Maritime and Air Rescue Center, it is probably so-called k-streaks that have caught people's attention.
– It looks like condensation trails, so-called k-trails, from an airplane. It occurs when warm air meets cold air, says Lars Nilsson, air rescue leader.
He emphasizes that no flight alerts have been received in the area.
– When the sun is on the horizon and shines from below, there are powerful shadows. Then it can look like this, he continues.
