The TV profile wants to buy Tiktok: "Is an incredible opportunity"

Canadian businessman Kevin O'Leary, known as one of the investors in the TV show "Shark Tank", is interested in buying the American part of Tiktok.

- An incredible opportunity, he says in the Canadian CBC.

He says that his vision is to create the world's largest television network.

O'Leary also tells CNBC that he "would love" to land a deal with the Chinese owner Bytedance. But he adds that it is not possible under current legislation, given last week's decision by the US Supreme Court.

Donald Trump is open to letting Tesla CEO Elon Musk or Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison buy Tiktok. This is reported by several news media.

– I would be if he wanted to, says Trump, adding that he would also like to see Larry buy the company.

Musk, who also owns the social media platform X, was one of Trump's biggest donors during the presidential campaign and now has a key role in his team. Oracle, headed by Larry Ellison, is Tiktok's cloud provider in the US.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as "Mr Beast", is joining forces with tech entrepreneur Jesse Tinsley to try to buy Tiktok, writes The Guardian. The law firm Paul Hastings, which represents the YouTube profile, confirms this, but does not reveal how large the bid is.

Jimmy Donaldson recently said in a post on Tiktok that he had talked to "a bunch of billionaires" about a potential bid for the platform.
