Confirms: Trump will meet with Zelensky this weekend

Donald Trump will meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

He has with him a "new 20-point plan".

The meeting between the president of the United States and Ukraine will take place in Florida on Sunday this weekend, Trump confirms to Politico.

There they will continue to discuss how the war against Russia will end.

Trump says he believes there is a good chance both Ukraine and Russia are ready to make a peace deal. He has presented a new 20-point plan which, according to Zelensky, is "90 percent ready".

- Our task is to make sure that everything is 100 percent ready. It is not easy and no one says it will be 100 percent right away, but we must bring the desired result closer with each such conversation.

The new peace plan focuses, among other things, on a proposal for a demilitarized zone, writes Politico.

The draft has been sent to Moscow. Zelenskyi has previously stated that they will discuss Donbass and the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhya.
