Raid on Ukrainian parliament stopped

Ukraine's anti-corruption agency Nabu says it was stopped from trying to raid parliament.
Nabu says some MPs are under investigation but that security services stopped them when they tried to raid parliament on Saturday.
The MPs are said to be part of an organised crime group that was uncovered in a secret operation carried out by Nabu and Sapo – an anti-corruption unit within the prosecutor's office. The investigation has not been commented on further.
Ukraine has previously been shaken by a major corruption scandal in which both ministers and President Volodymyr Zelensky's closest man at the time, Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak, have been forced to leave their posts.

Investigators allowed in – raid carried out
The
Ukrainian anti-corruption agency Nabu has carried out a raid on the
Verkhovna Rada parliament after initially being prevented by security
personnel. The state security service writes on Facebook according to
AFP.
Nabu states that undercover agents discovered an "organized
criminal group" that includes members of parliament. They do not go into
details about the suspicions, but state that it involves bribes in
exchange for votes.
It is not clear which members are suspected,
and there is no information about arrests. The raid is taking place at
the same time as President Zelenskyj is in the United States for talks
with Donald Trump.
