Greenland's future
Expert: There is more talk about a Plan B for Greenland

In Denmark, there is more and more talk about the need for a Plan B in the event that the US lands forces on Greenland. Ann-Sofie Dahl, associate professor of international politics and active in Copenhagen, tells SvD.

She sees no logic in the American rhetoric about Greenland. The increased security focus that Trump is calling for can be achieved within the framework of the defense cooperation that the US and Denmark have had on the island for 70 years, as the Danes have repeatedly pointed out, she continues.

- They can deepen this cooperation as far as they want and the Americans can basically get whatever they want in Greenland. So there is no need for the US to annex.

The robbery coup in Germany

The allegations about Brigitte Macron
Internet-bullied Brigitte Macron – ten people convicted

Ten people, eight men and two women, have been convicted in Paris for cyberbullying the French first lady Brigitte Macron, writes the AP.

The people in question have written false claims about the 72-year-old's gender and sexuality, including that she was born a man. The 24-year age gap between the spouses has also been used to spread pedophile allegations.

The comments were “derogatory, insulting and malicious,” according to the court. The convicted are between 41 and 60 years old. The punishment ranges from training on cyberbullying to eight months of suspended prison sentences.

False conspiracy theories about Brigitte Macron have been widely spread on social media in recent years.

Tuna sold for 30 million at auction in Tokyo

A bluefin tuna has been sold for a record sum of 510 million yen, equivalent to around 30 million kronor, at a fish auction in Tokyo. The tuna weighed 243 kilograms, which means a kilo price of around 124,000 kronor. The previous record of 334 million yen was thus blown away by everyone.

The buyer was Kiyoshi Kimura, owner of the sushi chain Sushi Zanmai.

“When I see a nice tuna, I can’t resist it. I haven’t tasted it, but it must be delicious,” he says, according to the AP.
